We were supposed to be on our way to the bus terminal by now, for our trip to Cebu. We had to cancel that trip though. Aside from the fact that John couldn’t register online for his CCNA exam (for some particular reason, the site registration is going a bit bonkers), he also needs more time to review so he can feel for sure that he can do good. So the trip is postponed. It’ll either be next week or the week after next.

So, instead of packing my bag tonight, I ended up watching Van Helsing with Vix. I enjoyed it, despite all the bad reviews it has received. David Wenham was an absolute comedic relief in that movie. I think he did really good as Carl.

One of my favorite Carl quotes : I am just a friar. I can swear as many times as I want! … DAMMIT!

I feel pity for Kate. Can you imagine climbing those ropes and staying afloat in the water with that corset? And her lines, exactly how many times did she say the words ‘oh-my-god!’?

Vix and I both agree that the film makers should have built up on the back history more. Maybe a little more flashbacks here and there. But, I enjoyed my Monday.
