I was musing on why PHP was called ‘hypertext pre-processor’ when Vix said, “I always thought that it meant Pretty Home Pages”.
“Of course not!”, I said. It couldn’t possibly be that. I was wrong. As it turns out, it was originally called ‘Pretty Home Pages’ and eventually renamed to ‘Hypertext Pre-Processor’. Isn’t it amusing that one of the universally used languages was named that?
Anyway, I’ve finished putting the content of the site back up, except for the skins. There’s no need to put that section up right now since I only am using one layout anyway. I’ll activate it once I get another layout running on this site.
And, before I forget, a very happy birthday to a friend. Happy Birthday Jethro!.
