This is an appendage to Vix’s entry about the remake of The Omen which we saw last night.

You know that when a priest tells you that “God can forgive this little deception” you know that there is something amiss here. What kind of priest would condone such a thing?

I also burst out laughing when Vix burst out saying “Confess you idiot! Tell her you brought the son of Satan home!” during the scene when Thorn visits his wife after her fall. Vix was hella frustrated with the whole “I’m scared to tell you the truth hun!”

We also kept going “I feel a decapitation coming” after Keith (David Thewlis’ character) reveals to Thorn about how he was going to die. So we weren’t surprised when he died. We actually laughed. Isn’t that kinda … scary?

But the one scene I found disturbing was that scene where Mia Farrow’s character feeding Damien strawberries. What the hell was that? Is that like his lesson for the day? “Damien my child, today you will learn one more thing in fulfilling your destiny as Satan’s child. I’m out in the Philippines’ version of a desert and connecting to the internet using PLDT’s weRoam.

Problem #1 : Finding a signal in this place is like hunting for Big Foot. You have to move about the place to get a decent signal. And when you do get a “Very Good” signal problem #2 comes into play

Problem #2 : Yay! I’m connected at 220 kpbs! But wait! Why is my download speed at 2 kpbs?

Whoever said that weRoam’s speed is excellent hasn’t tried it in other conditions other than just inside the city. It’s no better than dial-up in my opinion. Well, at least you don’t get disconnected that often.
